About Me

I am resource analyst with a passion for serving his community. Born and raised in Houston, I am a proud graduate of the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business with a focus in Finance and Marketing. I have worked as a financial analyst in the banking and energy industries for more than 10 years.

I believe in Houston’s power and potential. As a son of Houston’s Third Ward and North side communities, I am aware of the influence that local government has on everyday citizens. Houston is a national leader in healthcare, energy, space, and diversity. I believes that with the right people in office, all Houstonians can reap the benefits that our great city has to offer.

I have tried to demonstrate honest leadership all my life. I am a founding member of UH’s MAGOH (Men After God’s Own Heart) organization, and I sit on the Young Professionals Board for Covenant House. I volunteer regularly, and try to bring a sense of integrity to everything I have done. A member of many organizations such as Houston Climate Change, NAACP, Houston Justice Coalition and others I try to impact my city in many different ways.

Outside work, you can find me training for mud races, cycling, and training for marathons. I also enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews. I often ride along Houston’s beautiful bayou trails with my trusty cairn terrier by my side.
